Slay made his announcement on Instagram, thanking football for a 13-year career as his 'peace, joy, and everything.' During his tenure with the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, and Pittsburgh Steelers, Slay accumulated 28 interceptions and 163 passes defended. He won his Super Bowl title with the Eagles in 2024.
