England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is determined to end the team's title drought at the upcoming T20 World Cup, which they will host in June.
Since their 2017 Women's World Cup victory, England has underachieved in major ICC events. Sciver-Brunt, who took over as captain last April, aims to reverse this trend.
"We would have liked to have won a lot more than we have done and we'd obviously like that to change this summer," Sciver-Brunt told BBC Sport. "A win could change what women's cricket looks like in this country."
England faces a challenging draw in Group B, which includes defending champions New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Scotland. Their opening match is against Sri Lanka on June 12.
