Ewa Pajor finally has a winner's medal. The Polish striker scored twice on Saturday, leading Barcelona to a 4-0 rout of Lyon in the women's Champions League final.

Pajor had lost five previous finals-four with Wolfsburg and one with Barcelona last season. But in Oslo, she put the heartbreak behind her, scoring the first two goals to put the game out of reach.

"It's the best day in my life," said Pajor, 29. "Losing five finals was difficult, but I never give up."

Salma Paralluelo added two late goals, but it was Pajor who earned Player of the Game honors, celebrating on the field wrapped in a Polish flag.
