The Counter-Strike 2 competitive landscape has shifted significantly ahead of the PGL Singapore Major 2026. Europe will field 18 teams, securing a majority of the 32 available berths, while the Americas region drops to seven slots.

This reallocation stems directly from the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), with CIS organization Monte’s strong qualifier performance acting as the primary catalyst. The VRS cutoff date is set for November 2, 2026, allowing late-season results to heavily influence regional distribution.

Scheduled for November 25 through December 13, 2026, the event features a $1.25 million prize pool. It marks the first CS2 Major held in Southeast Asia and the second of the year. The tournament format includes three Swiss-system stages followed by single-elimination playoffs, with PGL continuing its role as Valve’s primary partner.
