Miles Russell, 17, the youngest player at the 2026 U.S. Open, delivered a touching surprise for Father's Day. After his approach on the par-4 18th, his caddie handed over the bag and bib to his father, Joe, fulfilling his plan to have him caddy that hole.

"It was a fun Father's Day gift. I hope he remembers it for a long time," Russell said post-round. He made the cut after shooting 3-over in the first two rounds, finishing with a final score of even par.

Qualifying through a playoff, Russell previously made headlines as the youngest player in Korn Ferry Tour history to make a cut. He and Charlie Woods, Tiger Woods’ son, have both committed to play at Florida State.
