Around 12:20 AM local time, a brawl erupted on Király Street in the city's 7th district. According to the Budapest Police Headquarters, several supporters were involved in the fight. A criminal investigation for violent disorder has been opened.

Each club received an official allocation of 17,000 tickets for the 6:00 PM kickoff. However, Hungarian authorities warn tens of thousands of additional fans are expected to arrive without tickets, raising security concerns.
