Flau’jae Johnson is set to play her final game in a LSU Tigers jersey, closing a four-year college career defined by loyalty in an era of transfers. The guard, known for her work ethic and leadership, has remained at LSU since her commitment - a rarity in today’s NIL landscape.

Johnson’s connection to the program runs deep. She buried her late bearded dragon, Four, on campus - a tribute to her jersey number. Now, her other dragon, Champ, travels with her in spirit as she prepares for the NCAA Tournament.

Her coach, Kim Mulkey, praised Johnson’s impact, calling her one of LSU’s greatest athletes for her character, consistency, and dedication. Johnson, a recording artist signed to Roc Nation, balances basketball, music, and brand partnerships while staying committed to her team.

LSU earned a No. 2 seed in the women’s Division I tournament, advancing to the Sacramento regional. Johnson will compete in Unrivaled, the new 3-on-3 women’s league, starting next year after signing an NIL deal.

"I want to do the hard stuff," Johnson said. "I want to play with All-Americans and tough coaches who’ve won championships."
