Atlanta Falcons right tackle Kaleb McGary has retired from the NFL at age 31. McGary's agent confirmed the move Wednesday.
The retirement follows a knee injury McGary sustained on the final day of training camp last year, which sidelined him for the entire 2025 season. The Falcons' offensive line, a consistent top-10 unit, will now need to replace McGary, who was expected to return to protect the quarterback's blindside.

McGary had been a starter for the Falcons for six seasons. The team has since signed former Kansas City Chiefs tackle Jawaan Taylor to address the vacancy. McGary's departure is a significant development for a team with left-handed quarterbacks like Michael Penix Jr.
