After a scoreless first half, Kylian Mbappé broke the deadlock. He maneuvered through tight defensive coverage to score his eighth goal of the tournament.

Ousmane Dembélé doubled the lead in the 66th minute with a low shot that found the back of the net. The win sends France to the semifinals on July 14 in Dallas.

France will face the winner of the Spain-Belgium quarterfinal match.
