Dominic Frimpong, a promising 20-year-old Ghanaian footballer, has died after suspected armed robbers attacked the Berekum Chelsea team bus. The incident occurred as the team returned from a Ghana Premier League fixture. The attackers, described as masked men wielding guns, blocked the road and opened fire on the bus.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) expressed deep sorrow and pledged to strengthen security measures for traveling clubs. Frimpong, on loan from Aduana FC, had scored two goals in 13 appearances this season. Authorities are investigating the attack, and the suspects remain at large.
