Spain's Unai Simón has set a new Guinness World Record. The goalkeeper recorded 519 minutes without conceding a goal during the World Cup, surpassing Italian Walter Zenga's 1990 record of 518 minutes.
The achievement came during Spain's 3-0 victory over Austria in Los Angeles. The win secured Spain's spot in the round of 16.
Mikel Oyarzabal scored twice and Pedro Porro added a header. The goals were assisted by Marc Cucurella.
Spain now faces Portugal in Dallas on Monday.
