Paris Saint-Germain has emerged as the frontrunner to sign Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche this summer. The 24-year-old French international is the club's top attacking target.
Akliouche has publicly stated he expects to leave Monaco after France's World Cup campaign concludes. He has two years remaining on his contract, giving Monaco significant negotiating leverage.
Monaco is seeking a transfer fee between €60 and €70 million. This represents a premium over the player's estimated market value of €50 million, reflecting his contract status and competition from multiple clubs.
PSG's sporting director has already met with the player's representatives. The club views Akliouche as a versatile right winger and attacking midfielder with proven Ligue 1 experience.
Several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester City, are also monitoring the situation. However, no formal bids have been submitted as of late June.
The transfer is expected to be finalized in the later stages of the summer window after the World Cup.
