Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane expressed confidence in his team's ability to advance in the Champions League, despite a thrilling 5-4 defeat to Paris St Germain.

Trailing 5-2 in the second half, Bayern mounted a comeback with two quick goals, making the tie significantly more manageable for the return leg in Munich. Kane, who scored a penalty, highlighted the team's fighting spirit. "We fought and we're back in the tie," he stated. "We take a lot of pride in the fact that we got back to 5-4 because away from home, being 5-2 down could be a really tough place to be."

Kane, now the first English player to score in six consecutive Champions League matches, leads the competition with 13 goals this season. The initial leg set a record as the highest-scoring Champions League semi-final first leg in history.

"We've got to bring the same intensity," Kane added. "We're going to need more of that next week." He described the match as a clash between "two high-level teams going toe-to-toe."
