Harry Kane has tipped Paris Saint-Germain to beat Arsenal in the Champions League final, saying the French giants are the slight favorites to defend their title.
The England captain suffered European heartbreak as Bayern Munich were eliminated by PSG in a thrilling semifinal. Kane scored in stoppage time of the second leg at the Allianz Arena, but a 1-1 draw wasn't enough to overturn the 6-5 aggregate deficit.
"PSG being champions probably hold the right to be slight favorites but overall, two top teams going at it and it will be an even match," Kane said. He praised both teams but noted PSG's experience in high-pressure situations could be the deciding factor.
Kane also voiced frustration over refereeing decisions, including a rejected penalty claim and a failure to issue a second yellow card to a PSG player.
Despite the loss, Kane matched Cristiano Ronaldo's record by scoring in six consecutive Champions League knockout matches. He has 55 goals this season but faces a trophyless European campaign.
Bayern now shifts focus to the DFB-Pokal final against Stuttgart.
