No. 12 seed High Point University ended its historic NCAA Tournament run Saturday night, falling to No. 4 seed Arkansas in the Round of 32. Following a stunning upset over No. 5 Wisconsin, the Panthers demonstrated resilience but ultimately succumbed to a late surge by the Razorbacks.

The contest remained tight through the second half, with High Point holding a 72-71 lead with seven minutes remaining. Arkansas responded with a decisive 10-2 run before the game was tied at 83. In the final three minutes, Arkansas outscored their opponents 11-5 to secure the victory at the Moda Center.

Darius Acuff Jr. led all scorers with 36 points for Arkansas, overshadowing a combined 55 points from High Point guards Rob Martin and Cam'Ron Fletcher. Legendary coach John Calipari advances Arkansas to the Sweet 16, where they will face the winner of Arizona or Utah State. High Point’s season concludes following their first-ever tournament win last week.
