India is weighing significant team changes for their must-win Twenty20 World Cup match against Zimbabwe on Thursday. Wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson is under consideration as the team looks to rebound from a disappointing loss.

Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak acknowledged India's "worst game in two years" following their defeat to South Africa. He emphasized the need to focus on optimal combinations rather than dwelling on pressure. "There can be changes, yes," Kotak stated, highlighting the potential for strategic adjustments to counter opposition bowling, particularly with multiple left-handed batters in the top order.

Despite the setback, India plans to maintain its aggressive brand of cricket. "We have to be very positive and play the same brand of cricket which has given us the success," Kotak affirmed. Samson could offer a spark, especially as opener Abhishek Sharma has struggled for form, though Kotak attributed this to health issues and expressed confidence in his return to form.

The team will also be boosted by the imminent return of finisher Rinku Singh, who had temporarily left due to a family emergency and is expected back by Thursday evening.
