The CBS Sports family is grieving the loss of production assistant Bryce Adair, who died Saturday after a single-car accident while working at the Memorial Tournament in Ohio. He was 31.

Lead broadcaster Jim Nantz fought back tears during Saturday’s broadcast to honor him. "In over 40 years, I have never seen our crew of 250 people come into a broadcast like this one carrying as much grief," Nantz said.

"Everyone loved him," Nantz continued. "He won an Emmy for our Super Bowl broadcast. The world was his, and he deserved the world."

Adair, a Georgia native and Valdosta State graduate, contributed to live sports production and helped maintain high broadcast standards for major events. Reporter Tracy Wolfson also paid tribute, remembering his "infectious smile" and love of the Eagles and music.
