Harry Kane netted his eighth brace of the season, propelling Bayern Munich to a 3-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt. This win stretches Bayern's lead at the top of the Bundesliga to nine points.
Bayern established their dominance early. Aleksandar Pavlovic opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a rebound volley that found the bottom left corner. Kane doubled the advantage four minutes later, heading home a corner flick. He added a third goal in the 68th minute after capitalizing on a defensive error, curling a shot inside the left post.
Kane's performance marks his ninth goal in six consecutive matches, bringing his league tally to 28 and 43 for the season. Frankfurt managed to pull a goal back from a penalty converted by Burkardt after Kane conceded a spot-kick. They further narrowed the deficit in the 86th minute when a defensive mix-up allowed Arnaud Kalimuendo to tap into an empty net.
Despite the late scare, Bayern secured the win, their 19th in 23 league games, solidifying their position at the summit of the league.
