Kasperi Kapanen scored his second goal of the game with under two minutes remaining, leading the Edmonton Oilers to a 4-3 comeback win against the Anaheim Ducks in their playoff opener.
Jason Dickinson also netted two goals for the Oilers. Star forward Leon Draisaitl returned from injury with two assists, and Jake Walman added two helpers.
The Ducks saw Troy Terry score twice and Leo Carlsson contribute one goal. Connor Ingram made 25 saves for Edmonton, while Lukas Dostal stopped 30 shots for Anaheim.
Edmonton opened scoring with a Dickinson goal, followed by Kapanen's first. Anaheim responded in the second period with goals from Terry and Carlsson, before Terry put the Ducks ahead on a power play. Dickinson then tied the game for the Oilers. Kapanen secured the victory late in the third period.
This win gives the Oilers a 1-0 lead in the series.
