The New York Knicks are heading home with a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals. Jalen Brunson made a go-ahead free throw in the closing seconds Friday night, giving the Knicks a 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Brunson and Mikal Bridges each added 20. New York has now won 13 straight playoff games.

The Knicks are just the third team in NBA history to win the first two games of a Finals on the road. They join the 1993 Chicago Bulls and the 1995 Houston Rockets. Both teams went on to win the championship.

Victor Wembanyama scored 29 for San Antonio, and De'Aaron Fox added 20.

The series now shifts to Madison Square Garden. Game 3 is Monday night.
