Leon Draisaitl scored twice and Evan Bouchard added three assists as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Anaheim Ducks 4-1, forcing a Game 6 in their playoff series.
Vasily Podkolzin and Zach Hyman also scored for the Oilers. Connor Ingram made 29 saves in net. Alex Killorn scored the lone goal for the Ducks, who lead the series 3-2.
Edmonton struck first early in the game, taking a 2-0 lead in the first period. Draisaitl's first goal extended the lead to 3-0, a franchise record for fastest three goals to start a playoff game. Anaheim responded with a power-play goal from Killorn in the second period, but Draisaitl netted another power-play goal to seal the win. Draisaitl's second goal tied Wayne Gretzky for the franchise record in playoff power-play goals.
The Oilers outshot the Ducks 24-8 in the final 40 minutes. Game 6 is scheduled for Thursday night in Anaheim.
