Liverpool Football Club has announced a record revenue of 703 million pounds, equivalent to $947.57 million, for the year ending May 2025. This achievement coincides with the club's 20th English Premier League title win.
The club reported an after-tax profit of eight million pounds ($10.78 million). The surge in revenue was driven by significant increases across media, matchday, and commercial sectors. Media revenue alone climbed by 60 million pounds to 264 million pounds. Matchday revenue saw a rise of 14 million pounds, and commercial revenue increased by 15 million pounds.
Despite the revenue growth, administrative costs rose by 57 million pounds, and staffing costs increased by 42 million pounds. The club noted that "several other categories of costs have also seen double-digit growth in recent years, impacting the marginal return from core operations such as matchday."
