New York Giants legendary linebacker Lawrence Taylor has been hospitalized for a week due to a stomach-related issue, according to his attorney, Mark Eiglarsh. The condition is reported as non-life-threatening, and Taylor is showing signs of improvement.

The 67-year-old Pro Football Hall of Famer, considered one of the greatest linebackers in NFL history, helped the Giants win two Super Bowls and was named MVP in 1986. Taylor remains the Giants’ all-time sacks leader.

Taylor's career was also marked by off-the-field legal and drug issues. His No. 56 jersey is retired by the Giants, and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999.
