Mamelodi Sundowns are heading to the African Champions League final after defeating Esperance of Tunisia. Colombian striker Brayan Leon scored the decisive goal on Saturday, ensuring a 1-0 home win at Loftus Versfeld and a 2-0 aggregate triumph.

Leon's 35th-minute penalty was initially saved by Esperance goalkeeper Bechir Ben Said, but Leon quickly converted the rebound. This victory marks Sundowns' second consecutive appearance in the final, having been runners-up last season.

They will face the winner of the match between Morocco’s Royal Armed Forces and Renaissance Berkane in the final. Sundowns earned their penalty when Leon pressured Ben Said into an error while clearing a throw-in.
