Manchester City's Premier League title dreams were extinguished Tuesday with a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, handing Arsenal the trophy after a 22-year wait.
A first-half strike from Eli Junior Kroupi put Bournemouth ahead. Erling Haaland equalized deep in injury time, but it was too late. City finishes four points behind Arsenal on 78 points.
"We congratulate Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. They deserve it," said Pep Guardiola, likely in his final season as City manager.
Bournemouth, now sixth on 56 points and unbeaten in 17 league matches, secured European qualification for the first time. Manager Andoni Iraola is leaving at season's end.
