Mirra Andreeva, 19, is the youngest woman to win the French Open since Monica Seles in 1992. After defeating Maja Chwalinska 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday, she was handed the Suzanne-Lenglen Trophy.

Andreeva initially raised the trophy in the wrong spot for photographers. She slid to her left and tried again, finally absorbing the moment.

"The feeling in real life is so much better than in your dreams," she said. "I can call myself a Grand Slam champion."

Coach Conchita Martinez noted Andreeva's attitude is difficult but when she listens, "she has no limits." Andreeva acknowledged she can be a tough cookie.
