Michigan forward Morez Johnson Jr. has declared for the NBA Draft following the Wolverines' national championship victory. Johnson maintains his NCAA eligibility and has until May 27 to withdraw from the draft process.

Johnson was a key contributor for Michigan, averaging the second-most points and leading the team in rebounding with 7.3 per game. Michigan's head coach Dusty May recognized his defensive tenacity, nicknaming him "The Enforcer" and "Junkyard Dog." Johnson earned a spot on the Big Ten's All-Defensive Team.

Early NBA projections suggest Johnson could be a first-round pick. His decision comes as the team also sees Jalen Reed transfer in from LSU.
