Manchester City won the League Cup final 2-0 against Arsenal on Sunday, securing their ninth title in the competition. Nico O'Reilly scored both goals in a decisive second-half performance.

Premier League leaders Arsenal entered as favorites but were outplayed after halftime. O'Reilly opened the scoring in the 60th minute following a fumble by goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Four minutes later, O'Reilly doubled the lead with a header from Matheus Nunes' cross. Arsenal hit the post late but lacked creativity, ending talk of a quadruple pursuit.

The victory marks another trophy for Pep Guardiola’s side, reinforcing their dominance in English domestic cup competitions.
