Madison Square Garden will host a private concert on March 28 to honor New York City Police Department personnel and their families. The event, free of charge and funded by donations, features a star-studded lineup including Cyndi Lauper, rapper Fat Joe, and comedians Chris Distefano and Sam Morril.
MSG Entertainment CEO Jim Dolan described the concert as a non-political gesture of gratitude, countering negative rhetoric toward law enforcement. "We need, respect, and appreciate their effort," he said.
The concert aims to unite New Yorkers in appreciation for the NYPD’s service, with residents encouraged to submit thank-you messages.
