TESERO, Italy, Feb 19: Norway has clinched the gold medal in the Nordic Combined team sprint at the Olympics. The race, held in Tesero, Italy on Thursday, was marked by chaotic conditions including heavy snowfall and multiple athlete crashes.

Andreas Skoglund and Jens Luraas Oftebro secured the victory for Norway, finishing ahead of Finland in a close sprint. The challenging weather significantly impacted the competition, reducing the field and testing the athletes' balance and nerve.

Several contenders faced setbacks due to the treacherous conditions. Germany's Vinzenz Geiger crashed late in the race, taking Japan's Ryota Yamamoto with him. Austria also fell out of medal contention when Stefan Rettenegger crashed. This left Norway and Finland to battle for the medals in the final stretch, with Oftebro securing his third gold of the Games.
