Nike is investigating a design issue that has emerged with several national team kits, becoming visible during recent international matches. Problems with bulging around the shoulder seams were observed on shirts worn by England, France, and Uruguay.

A Nike spokesperson confirmed a "minor issue" affecting the "overall aesthetic," though performance remains unaffected. The flaw is present on both player and replica versions of the kits.

The sportswear giant, which outfits numerous World Cup teams including the United States, Brazil, and the Netherlands, has faced scrutiny over product innovation and inventory levels. The company recently appointed Andy Caine as its chief innovation officer.
