Ahead of the fatal four-way match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, Nikki Bella announced she was unable to compete due to an ankle injury. She revealed she had called a friend for backup.

Paige's music blared, igniting the crowd at WrestleMania 42. She teamed with Brie Bella to challenge champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

Paige secured the victory by pinning Alexa Bliss after hitting her signature "RamPaige" maneuver. This win marks Paige's return to championship status after an eight-year absence from WWE competition.

Paige and Brie Bella are now the new tag team champions.
