Pep Guardiola says Phil Foden brings an irreplaceable spark as Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 3-0 to stay within two points of Premier League leaders Arsenal.
The England midfielder delivered assists for Antoine Semenyo and Omar Marmoush, including a back-heel that drew roars from City fans.
Guardiola praised Foden's unique talent. "It's not on the tactical boards, not in the meetings. He receives the ball in small spaces and creates something."
Foden, who has seen limited playing time this season, said he was "buzzing" to contribute. With Guardiola rotating for Saturday's FA Cup final, City's depth is proving vital.
However, the title is not in their hands. Arsenal can go five points clear if they beat Burnley on Monday. City must then face in-form Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
