Pep Guardiola has signaled he will remain at Manchester City through the 2026-27 season, dismissing reports he might leave this summer. The Catalan coach, now approaching a decade at the Etihad, described an "incredible environment" and said he still has the energy to continue.
Guardiola told The Guardian: "I still have incredible energy, still I'm so good, coming here to work on my day off." He credited the club's consistency for its sustained success in the Premier League and Champions League.
City are currently chasing Arsenal in the title race, have won the Carabao Cup, and are preparing for an FA Cup final. With two games in hand, Guardiola's side controls its destiny.
The manager admitted to feeling the pressure before games but said he is more calm between matches. "This season we won the Carabao Cup, FA Cup final again and still fighting against Arsenal, so what can I say? It is really good."
