Ilia Malinin is back on top after winning his third consecutive world figure skating title. The 21-year-old, known as the 'quad god,' landed multiple high-scoring quadruple jumps and a backflip to secure the victory. His performance came six weeks after a disastrous skate at the Winter Olympics left him in eighth place. Malinin praised the crowd's support and said his goal was simply to finish the free skate 'in one piece.' He became the first skater to win three straight men's world titles since Nathan Chen. Japan's Yuma Kagiyama took silver, while Shun Sato finished third.
