George Russell put Mercedes on pole position for the Austrian Grand Prix. Championship leader Kimi Antonelli qualified fourth for Sunday's race.
Russell took the top spot as Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finished close behind. The result extends Mercedes' streak of securing pole position to eight consecutive races.
Russell's final lap was completed as Max Verstappen crashed, triggering a yellow flag period. He was investigated for a potential violation but was cleared.
"It was a single yellow and should be okay," Russell said after qualifying.
