American rapper and producer Snoop Dogg was welcomed with a guard of honor and twirling white towels during his inaugural visit to Swansea City. He became an investor in the Welsh club last year.

Dressed in the team's colors, the 54-year-old artist entered the field before the Championship match against Preston North End. He was greeted by young Welsh footballers and over 20,000 cheering fans.

The game concluded in a 1-1 draw, with Liam Cullen scoring a late equalizer in the 95th minute.

Swansea head coach Vitor Matos confirmed that Snoop Dogg engaged with the players in the dressing room. Matos highlighted the rapper's genuine passion for sports and the club, stating, "It's good for him to be involved. I'm happy that we have someone like him who loves the club, loves the city, wants to be here."

Swansea currently sits 14th in the English second tier and is scheduled to play Ipswich Town on Saturday.
