The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after losing the African Cup of Nations title. The decision came when CAF overturned the final result, awarding Morocco a 3-0 victory following Senegal's forfeit during the match on January 18.
In its appeal, FSF seeks to overturn the CAF verdict and reclaim their title. They also demand an extension to submit further arguments until full details of the decision are disclosed. A CAS panel will now evaluate the case and set a procedural timeline. Meanwhile, Senegal’s legal team will hold a press conference in Paris this Thursday.
