Fields, a former No. 11 overall pick of the Chicago Bears, will provide depth as Mahomes recovers.

Fields, known for 9,039 passing yards and 52 touchdown passes, joins the Chiefs to help secure their playoff aspirations. The deal aims to ensure the Chiefs have a capable backup while Mahomes heals.
