Spain is heading to the World Cup Final for just the second time in its history after a dominant 2-0 victory over France in Tuesday's semifinal.

The match at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, saw Spain capitalize on early pressure. A defensive error by France's Lucas Digne in the 22nd minute led to a penalty, converted by Mikel Oyarzabal.

Pedro Porro added a second goal in the 58th minute, effectively sealing the match. Despite efforts from French star Kylian Mbappé, Spain's defense and goalkeeper Unai Simón held firm.

The win marks Spain's sixth shutout in the tournament. The 2010 champions will face the winner of the England-Argentina semifinal in Atlanta.
