Trossard, Vanaken Withdraw from Belgium Squad Due to Injury

Belgium will play two World Cup warm-up matches in the United States without Leandro Trossard and Hans Vanaken.

Trossard has withdrawn from the squad ahead of games against the U.S. in Atlanta on Saturday and Mexico in Chicago on March 31. The Arsenal forward is recovering from a hip injury. In coordination with his club, it was decided he would remain in London to continue rehabilitation.

Club Brugge captain Vanaken is also sidelined with a hip injury. The Belgian football association confirmed both players will miss the crucial friendlies as part of their recovery protocols.
