Tom Brady has no plans to become a majority owner of an NFL team.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo that soaring franchise valuations and years of paying high income taxes during his playing career make full ownership impractical.
Brady currently serves as a lead NFL broadcaster for FOX alongside Kevin Burkhardt and holds a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. He also acts as Chief Wellness Officer for eMed Population Health.
He emphasized his joy in current roles, noting the shift from being booed as a player to receiving cheers as a broadcaster. "I see it every week when I go to these amazing stadiums," Brady said. "It feels really nice walking into stadiums and not getting booed by everybody anymore."
Brady called his post-playing path-spanning media, ownership, and health-a “dream come true” and expressed a desire to inspire others through lessons from his mentors and experiences.
