Tottenham Hotspur made a drastic substitution in the 17th minute of their Champions League last-16 first leg against Atletico Madrid. Young goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky was replaced after conceding three goals within the first 15 minutes of the match.
The 22-year-old's difficult start saw Atletico's Marcos Llorente open the scoring in the sixth minute. Antoine Griezmann quickly doubled the lead, and a misplaced pass from Kinsky directly led to Julian Alvarez making it 3-0 in the 15th minute.
Manager Igor Tudor acted swiftly, withdrawing the visibly upset Kinsky. As he left the pitch, teammates offered comfort while Atletico fans gave a standing ovation.
