Tiger Woods is stepping away from golf to seek treatment after his DUI arrest in Jupiter Island, Florida.
The former world No. 1 golfer released a statement acknowledging the seriousness of the situation and emphasized his commitment to recovery.
“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place,” Woods said.
He has pleaded not guilty and waived his arraignment, opting for a jury trial.
