Toronto will release the second batch of free tickets for its FIFA World Cup fan festival this Friday at 10 a.m. Fans can claim general admission passes through an online portal. The first allocation of 220,000 tickets sold out within hours last week.

The city reversed a controversial plan to charge $10 for general admission after public backlash. Premium tickets for enhanced experiences remain available, priced between $100 and $300.

The fan festival runs from June 11 to July 19 at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway, coinciding with match days.
