Golfer Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida on Friday after a rollover crash, with prescription opioids found in his pocket. Authorities cited signs of impairment, including lethargic movement and bloodshot eyes.
Deputies said Woods was distracted by his phone and radio before the crash. He failed field sobriety tests and was later found with two white pills-later identified as hydrocodone-in his pants pocket.
Woods, who has had multiple surgeries, declined a blood test and submitted a 0.00 breathalyzer result. This marks his second DUI arrest in the past decade.
His previous DUI was in 2017, also in Jupiter Island. In 2021, a crash left him with serious leg injuries, sidelining him for a full year.
