Ukraine will boycott the upcoming Milano Cortina Paralympics in protest of Russian and Belarusian athletes competing under their national flags, according to Ukraine's Sports Minister Matvii Bidnyi.

Bidnyi stated that while Ukrainian athletes will participate in the March 6-15 Games, no Ukrainian officials will attend the opening ceremony or any other events. The International Paralympic Committee recently cleared a combined 10 para athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete.
