American figure skater Amber Glenn experienced a difficult performance in the women’s singles short program at the Winter Olympics. Glenn, a three-time U.S. champion, was on track for a medal until a misstep on a triple loop element invalidated part of her routine and cost her valuable points.

The costly error resulted in zero points for the element and significantly reduced her chances of reaching the podium. Off the ice, Glenn expressed her frustration, stating, "I had it."

She finished the short program in 13th place with a score of 67.39. Glenn later shared a message of resilience on social media, writing, "The world has ended for me many times and yet tomorrow still comes. Keep going."

Glenn also had a challenging outing during the team event. In the women's singles competition, Alysa Liu remains the top U.S. contender for a medal, currently sitting in third place.
