The Minnesota Vikings have named Nolan Teasley their new general manager, handing the 13-year Seahawks executive full control over the 53-man roster.

Teasley, who helped Seattle win Super Bowl LX, succeeds Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. He says his approach balances analytics with the coaching staff's vision.

'I think we have it all put together in a great way,' co-owner Mark Wilf said. 'I'm confident that this is a great move for the Minnesota Vikings.'

Teasley beat out several finalists, including interim GM Rob Brzezinski, for the job. He and head coach Kevin O'Connell will report directly to ownership.
