The Vincent Massey Trojans are once again Manitoba champions in boys high school hockey, claiming the Provincial AAAA title with a 4-1 win over the Oak Park Raiders at Seven Oaks Sportsplex.
The victory avenges their loss to the Raiders in the city championship less than two weeks prior. Aiden Dilay scored twice, including an empty-net goal, while Will Bader and Carter Kaczmarz added goals. Noah Barnes made 28 saves in net.
Vincent Massey finished the provincial tournament undefeated at 4-0. Defenceman Trevor Johnstone was named MVP, with Barnes, Dilay, Bader, Adam Blair, and David Sudoski also named all-stars.
The Trojans captured their third AAAA boys hockey crown in school history, adding to their 2010 title.
